Memorial Day is to honor those who have served. In keeping with this, there will be a Veteran’s Salute Ceremony on the Celebrate De Pere main stage, Monday 12:30 PM. Shelly Emmer of the SC Grand will be singing the National Anthem, followed by a US Army Reserve flyover.

Also at the information tent: The “Service Family Tree” sponsored by Willems Landscape. Bring a photo of your loved one in the service to hang on the tree, or put the name of a loved one who has served on a yellow ribbon to hang on the tree. Brennan Buick will again be sponsoring “Letters From Home” Please stop at our information booth and brighten the day of a service person far away by writing them a letter of thanks for all that they are doing for our country.
