This year Celebrate DePere’s annual Children’s Fishing Tournament is proud to be hosted by a new sponsor, Metal Storm Inc. of DePere. So please join us on Sunday from 9 AM to 11 AM for lots of family, fun and excitement at the tournament. All kids from ages 5 to 15 are welcome to participate (must be the main Fisherman ) and must be accompanied by an adult or guardian to register their fish. Please bring your own poles and bait and have a great time with all the young fisherman trying to catch the biggest fish.

There will be a presentation of awards for the winners of the children’s fishing tournament on the Main stage between 11:30 AM and 12 noon following the Children’s Fishing Tournament.

All participants will get a chance to win a brand, new rod and reel from our friends at Fisheries Forever and Green Bay Great Lakes, Sports Fisherman Association. See you there!

Gates will open at 8:30 am for the participants and their families. Nobody will be let in prior to this time. Fishing will take place near the boat docks area. Only fish caught after 9:00am will be eligible for registration. All fishing tournament participants and their guardians can enter the Celebrate De Pere grounds for free before 10 am.
